Is there interest in seeing more teamwork and communication within CASARA Saskatchewan? Yes there is!! Thanks to Rusty for his enthusiastic additions & ideas for the web site, watch for great things to come.. In support of my belief that we are a community of Zones with a shared commonality of purpose we proposed to built a Saskatchewan Website and form a 'WebTeam' made up of a group of interested members from each zone. These Zone Webteam members would provide regular updates [photos, articles, schedule information etc.] on proposed training, events, SARex's, SARs, membership etc. with close contact with the executive and members of each zone. This 'grassroots' information would be assembled with a shared goal to build and maintain a dynamic, zone and member focused provincial WebSite and related services. Interested WebTeam members could forward raw information, build structured web content or help compose electronic newsletters etc. depending on their interest. We planned our original website services with growth, change and team building in mind, as people working together can do some pretty amazing things and enjoy the journey as well! Thanks to all who provided feedback on our pilot website during it's first year! So where to next ???? Reflection often affirms what is most important... and rather than fold I have decided to step forward in trust that a website has a place in Saskatchewan. Thanks to the Zones and members who have offerd ideas and input. Special thanks to Chris Rule for the vision to launch the electronic newsletters this fall. Seeing and feeling the interest and appreciation of CASRA members who enjoy hearing about the events and activities of CASARA members in other zones/areas has re-kinded my belief that good communities (and friends) come from good communication! Watch for REGULAR updates in the near future ! or send your comments to webmaster@casarasask.ca This CASARA Saskatchewan evaluation site was built by Bob & Kyle Sutton (Zone 2) as an update to our original webpage and recently updated again by Rusty Gardiner. Our thanks go out to Mike Durocher and Vaughn Skogstad for introducing CASARA to the World Wide Web. |
