BASIC AIRCREW TRAINING The
following syllabus is a guide
used for the certification of CASARA aircrew. Each
province/territory is responsible for the addition of training items
specific to their individual requirements.
Please NOTE: These Guidelines are subject
to change! Watch for a clarification on Certification Requirements.
I will post the revisision ASAP !
CAUTION : The Requirements below are now obsolete
A certification flight(s) is/are required for each aircrew
position. The flights are approximately one (1) hour or
more in duration and are in addition to all the other flight
training. Certification flights should normally be flown with a
full crew and should be part of a zone training exercise (SAREX) that
includes a Search Coordinator. When possible, certified senior
training staff should be part of the crew.
