Homemade GPS Cradle Mount

Single axis tilt Navigator's map board mount for Garmin eTrex series cradles.
Parts list:
- 3 block pieces ....Hardwood 3/4" board cutoffs for fine
grain use Maple, Ash, Cherry available from cabinet makers waste bin
or recycled from broken furniture or cabinets walnut would be real
cool but rare.
- plywood base width of paper clip
- 2-Rubber friction pads cut from old car/truck/tractor/bicycle
tire tube
- 1/4" threaded rod about 9cm
- 1/4" wing nut
- 2- screws counter sunk. Garmin screw heads to large for front mount.
- Large paper clip
- White glue
Note: Drill and tap block opposite wing nut to eliminate extra nut
and extra length of threaded 1/4" rod

Gord Hamm from BC. Western Canada set called AB-SK-MB covers from
about Peachland BC-to-Argon ON 123nm south east of Dryden along the
CPR mainline. But latest catalogue shows Gord separated
Manitoba from AB-SK as two different CDs. Spectrum topo 250K
scale similar digital tiles as Etopo and as accurate but also has
larger scale area maps 1000000:1 scale (91.7nm screen width) useful
to plot larger area CSADs then overlay plot on 250000:1 scale (22.6nm
