Civil Air Search and Rescue Association - Saskatchewan



CASARA Saskatchewan is part of the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association.
We are a Canada-wide volunteer non-profit association dedicated to providing effective air search support as part of Canada's National Search and Rescue program as well as promoting aviation safety and training.

Membership is open to all pilots and/or aircraft owners, as well as to anyone who may wish to receive training.

Typical roles include Spotters, Pilots, Navigators, Ground Search Crew positions, and Base Support.

Members receive full training and certification in the field/s of their expertise and interest. A few basic topics include aviation safety, search techniques, effective search patterns, meteorology, survival awareness and operational procedures.

CASARA members are active in all Canadian Provinces and Territories. We operate under the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) and provide support for local communities and the RCMP. Always vigilent and always ready so
